Uploading an attendee list is important for several reasons. In order for attendees to utilize the networking features of the app, event organizers need to upload an attendee list so that our SmartProfile technology can create all of the attendees' profiles. This allows attendees to network with each other more efficiently and effectively. Additionally, the only way that attendees can receive certain notifications from your app, such as announcements, is if they are entered into the attendee list.
The Attendee list also serves an authentication factor to your event to make sure no one who is not a part of your event can access.
Attendees who have not downloaded Whova will still receive networking notifications via email if attendees attempt to network with them through the app.
