How can organizers export a custom report?

Organizers can export a custom report at any time (before, during, or after the event) as long as there are attendees. To do this, organizers can go to Attendees → Analytics & Exports, then click “Export” in the first section of the page.

From here, organizers may choose between two export options:

  1. Option 1: Export a spreadsheet with survey responses, session feedback, and check-in data.
  2. Option 2: Export everything in Option 1, plus responses to the registration form (available only for events using Whova’s Registration).

If you select the first option, Organizers may then choose to export a spreadsheet with either all attendees, attendees with a specific ticket type, or attendees within a specific category.

Alternatively, if the event is using Whova Registration and wants to export all of the attendee data in addition to registration form responses, they can select the second export option. They’ll then be prompted to choose which Whova registration form to include in the export.

Based on the selected form, the associated ticket types will appear, allowing organizers to choose which ticket types to include in the export.

After making their selections, the organizer can click “Export” to download the spreadsheet.

The spreadsheet will be exported containing the following information:

  • Attendee information (Name, Email, Title, Affiliation, Location)
  • Ticket type
  • Category
  • # Sessions on agenda
  • # Surveys submitted
  • # Session feedback submitted
  • Event Checked in status
  • # Days checked in
  • # Sessions checked in
  • Responses provided to custom registration questions on the chosen form (Note: this information will only show for events who chose to include a registration form in their export).

Note: Some fields in the export may be empty, especially if the export occurs before or during the event. For example, the “# Surveys” column may be empty if the export is done before or during the event, as the organizer likely has not sent out the survey yet.
