Our Session Self Check-in feature allows event participants to check into individual sessions on their own. This feature is designed to track session attendance rather than control admission to a session.
Here's how it works for attendees:
- Scanning QR Codes: Attendees can scan unique QR codes posted at the entrance of each session using their phone's native camera app or the Whova app.
- Whova App Check-in: Alternatively, attendees can simply use the Whova app and click the check-in button within the session details.
As an organizer, you can configure the Check-in Method and Check-in Window, and also customize the Confirmation message and Session Selection.
This feature is beneficial for organizers as it helps track attendance for issuing certificates or credits and understanding session popularity to guide future event planning.
