With MicroEvents, you can create a live webinar by clicking Live Webinars in the left menu > “Get started.”
In order to create your first live webinar, you must connect your Zoom account. Please note: The Zoom account must be a Pro account.
After doing so, you can fill out the details for the live webinar, such as in selecting a webinar linked to your connected Zoom account and setting up email reminders and post-event email preferences.
You can add speakers within the Speakers menu of the Live Webinar Setup as well. However, for live webinars, no email is associated with each speaker.
To note, speakers will not be added directly to the Zoom meeting. Organizers are responsible for adding speakers to Zoom and sending the Zoom link to panelists. The purpose of adding speakers to a live webinar is strictly for showcasing them on the registration page for the webinar.
Next, you can create the tickets for the live webinar. Here, you'll be able to set up different types of tickets. Note: All registrants, regardless of ticket type, will have access to the Zoom webinar.
Please be advised, you may also access the same registration features as in-person micro-events by navigating to the corresponding submenu under Registration.
Once you have completed your live webinar setup, you must publish the webinar. After publishing, you can still make changes to the webinar as long as you don’t have any registrants yet. Publishing the live webinar is necessary to use other tools, including announcements and survey.
